and I happened to see a few of them, while I was there

One avenue that throws some idea about the US to u.

US was snowing all the time, celebrated christmas year around, had tall sky scrapers overlooking a river, waterfront was the most romantic of places, people always worked on the 70th floor and always lived in palatial bungalows with sprawling gardens, drive ways and posh cars, apartments were unknown and dirt did not exist..

Somehow movies were mostly of New York and hardly of Hollywood.
And Hollywood is 3500 miles away from New York.

and so are the movies .. so much away from Hollywood.
