Been wanting to blog about this for a while. The Indo-Pak one day cricket series currently on in Pakistan has been an awesome treat to watch.
At Peshawar, India started off with an unfortunate way of losing a match. Paskistan having won the toss put India in and we made what seemed like a mammoth total of 328. With the way India was cruising at 225/2 in the 34th over, with wonderful knocks from out-of-form Tendulkar and raised-up-the-order Dhoni, at this point it was like India was looking at nothing short of 350. But some good work from Pak bowlers saw us short by 20 odd runs. Anyways it still looked like a mammoth total for Pak to chase.
Pakistan managed a pretty professional chase to reach 201/1 in only the 30th over. What seemed like a dead match came back alive with Dravid taking a simple catch at Point off Kartik. The wicket turned tables, Pak came down to 265/5 and then to 311/7. During this fall was an important wicket of Inzamam – given out for obstructing the field. It was hilarious to watch a man with generous dimensions standing right ahead of the stumps well outside the crease and fiddling a ball thrown towards the stumps away using his bat. Little did he realize that he was obstructing a ball hitting the stumps to run him out!
With three overs remaining, three wickets in hand and needing 18 more runs, the match was finely poised to go either way. Nail biting and inching towards the end of the chair sat a half a lakh people at Arbab Niaz Stadium and a million more sat glued to the TV set -- unfortunately the light-meter dipped low and the umpires called off the match due to poor lights. Pak won the match by 7 runs by Duckworth Lewis method. What a pity? The most cursed way to end a to-be-thriller.
At Rawilpindi, once again Pakistan won the toss but this time it took to bat hoping to post a big score. The hope hiccupped right in the second ball in the innings when Pathan swung the ball a wee bit away from the batsman Salman Butt - edged it to the keeper for a simple catch. The biggie scorer in the previous match was gone for a duck. Tendulkar mis-fielding at short-mid-wicket and the Yousuf going for the extra run, ball hitting the non-strikers end and he was out by miles. Pakistan did a great job to each 204/5 from 68/4 but after Shahid Afridis departure, the team just managed to reach 265 all out in 49.2 overs. The Indians were happy to have restricted the home team well with some exceptional fielding performances running out 4 of those Paki batsmen. In the chase, India kept their defense and their offence just in the right manner playing the loose balls and holding back on tougher ones finished a neat job losing only three wickets with seven overs to spare. Everyone visiting the crease contributed and a pretty neat chase executed well. A good toss to lose?!
At Lahore, India winning the toss put Pakis in, India going without a single spin attack and made a mess up of fielding dropping three catches - Kaif raised late on third slip to pouch a outside edge off Afridi in the third over, Dravid dropping a regulation slip catch off Akmal in the sixth over and Gambhir flooring an important Shoib Malik’s edge at Slip, may be a little difficult but definitely a mustaveBeenTaken. It costed India lots. And all the three catches off Sreesanth, the youngster was very frustrated very understandably.
Inspite of sloppy fielding, wickets kept falling at regular intervals and runs kept coming. With an important knock from Shoib Malik and a great supporting role from Abdul Razzaq Pakistan set a competitive target of 289. In response, India struggled with the initial pace bowling, lost Gambhir and Pathan for only 12, Dravid got beaten every other ball and eventually dismissed at 84/3. By this time the pace attack had lost juice. Tendulkar having provided a strong platform missing his century by five runs was out and India was 189/4. When around 17 overs remaining, 104 runs required Kaif had a great chance to prove which he let slip away. India was 190/5. A real pressure situation. Yuvraj and Dhoni at crease, asking rate raising to 7.3 runs an over, runs not flowing, Dhoni had to pick his play. He did not want to do what he doesn’t know to do. He wanted to play his shots, take his chances, rely on his muscle power, have confidence in his strength and it did play off. Power play is where Dhoni is there. It was indeed a pleasure to watch Dhoni play the counterparts in Afridi and Razzaq. He championed the team to 2-1 up in the series. Hats off Dhoni!
The next match going on at Multan could be the decider. Will India wrap it up? This is the question. I know the match is over but I haven’t seen it yet, not even the score. I am watching it deferred live right now with fingers crossed.

This is like a prelude to my next post
Rather, this is Thanksgiving !
Manoj and Raje have always made a difference in my life. They repeated it yet again, this time with a book - The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. Thank you both of you !
I grew up reading Norman Vincent Peale and Dale Carnegie, positive energy eh? I don't know how much managed to remain inside, but nevertheless it was an attempt of forceful entry! attempted catharsis of my broken-self ;)
However, off late I never had a chance to read such a book. Now, I pick one from the old shelves, the one they presented for my engagement. After one year, I read it today and I stand in awe. Thanks Guys! You will always remain special.

“God is a source of strength”
- Anonymous
The source from which you derive strength, power and direction is your God. The depth of your well-being and feel-good-factor is the depth of your faith in this source. Sometime, for different reasons and actions, different sources may seem effective
Hindus call Him Vishnu
Moslems look for Allah
Christians trust in Jesus
Zoroastrians seek from Fire
And atheists call it his self willpower
None of these, am I here to contend
The purpose of the source is not to save you from struggle and defeat; instead it will give you the power to stand up in times of controversy and conflict. After all, it is failure that teaches you the toughest lessons. I don’t want a magician (there are no shortcuts in life) to bring me out of my trouble; what I want is constancy of faith and steadfast companion in God that will give me the wisdom to make the right decision, guide me through the right channel and hold me on His shoulders when I grapple to walk. I want him to love me and to give me the perpetual desire to love Him.
It is when you decline to accept the trails and failures endowed upon you, that you doubt your source and start looking for an alternate source. And so is the depth of your faith.
That is when you become a coward convert, a skeptic or a cynic.
No blame on born converts!

Movies & Hollywood
Certain Hollywoord movies were popular in India
and I happened to see a few of them, while I was there
.....
Home Alone -1
Mulholland Drive
Independence Day
Home Alone - 2
When Harry Met Sally
Serendipity
Home Alone Part - 3
.....
One avenue that throws some idea about the US to u.
US was snowing all the time, celebrated christmas year around, had tall sky scrapers overlooking a river, waterfront was the most romantic of places, people always worked on the 70th floor and always lived in palatial bungalows with sprawling gardens, drive ways and posh cars, apartments were unknown and dirt did not exist..
Somehow movies were mostly of New York and hardly of Hollywood.
And Hollywood is 3500 miles away from New York.
and so are the movies .. so much away from Hollywood.

now and I
I have often been pronounced that I write everything about the past, be it a month ago or years ago, so I thought I will try some current happenings. Suddenly there is a lot of time at hand; a day seems too long, longer than 24 hours.
Last quarter, I had taken a couple of evening courses, a full time internship and a course to be done remotely. With all that I had to cope with the newly acquired role of wife, there were constant blitz of having to search for a job, finding a better apartment, household chores, finding deals, handling the kitchen mess, lost credit card, dealing with daily routines was an ordeal. In spite of my hubby helping on every front, I was still gripping with the newer responsibilities and the expanse of albatross was constantly reminding me of the next errand. And if there was a performance review rating for this mélange of roles, I would hover around C?
Oops I was not suppose to talk about the past …. Pinching me to the present..
Oh, and now, I was been promoted to being a full-time house-wife. I have classes two days a week. Probably I have learnt to manage some domestic scutwork. I seem to have time for everything that I have always wanted to do. Read a book, talk on the phone, workout at the gym, yoga classes, step classes and wander about in Portland Downtown without a purpose or direction, spend hours reading every magazine from Washington Post to New York Times to Wall Street Journal and watch cricket without worrying about having to getup early in the morning. But I am not sure if I will really enjoy this for long. What is the stuff that I am made of? What do I want to do? I definitely enjoy this change but for how long? I will surely get bored soon and I would then blog about how bum and lazy I have become.
I wish life was full of exciting changes, newer lifestyles, and interesting happenings all the time. Yes, it will be so. Looking forward to more of it!
Thank you, for this minute!

Someone please absorb and degrade my mind..
Having spent six months, in an internship with SUN,
after knowing how business works in a high-end server support environment,
after supposedly learning some technical fundas in J2EE,
Having worked with a wonderful manager like Richard
I came across certain Aristotle's words
--"All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind"
and then I think, is that why my internship enhanced by mind ;) ?
and now, am searching for a job that could possibly absorb and degrade my mind..

Thanks to google, I finally cracked the puzzle (mentioned below) after two days of resolve, hints and clues and sportive competition. It sure kept the otherwise jobless me, busy. There is a lot of hard work that has gone into it, a lot of thinking, a lot of energy and a lot of technology that it failed to get picked by the crawler. It displayed character of a professional team, the enthusiasm of students at IIM-I and the passionate people eager to get past to level 30.
Thanks to the IIM-I team who made this possible.

Welcome there to the New Year 2006.
Ooops! Do you know what 2006 sounds to me like??
Remember, in those days of peace of calm, when I could barely read, I used to read those fictional science novels that spoke about the electronics and amazing gadgets that some 200x would bring?!!!! That is how 2006 seems to me.. And I can’t believe that the electronics, the gadgets and I are all already together for some action.
A and I are just back from a week long vacation. Actually, this period was a lot of activity, that I would not call it a vacation. It was fun-filled- Yes, but it was packed!! a hectic trip. Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego visited us!!!! We had booked a neat 3-way trip from PDX-LAS-LAX-PDX again. The trip was all laid out, packed with fun stuff and here I take you on the ride.
Started from PDX, we boarded a afternoon Ted flight to Las Vegas with an hour and a half of stopover at SFO. if the 'Ted' thing sounds like something new and fun.. Hold back.. it is not .. it was partnered with United, as it read and in all probability it is nothing more than a business strategy of renaming the sick United, after all Ted is the last and left out half of United !! It was a usual A320 airbus and even before the wind wagon taxied for the take off, my brain was transmitting Theta waves in between my slumber. So I guessed the flight was a smooth one. Moreover, the plane being really sparsely filled, A and I could share a 3 seat row. ‘A’ promptly woke me up to see the wonderful landing at SFO airport. It was one of the best landings I have seen, seems like landing right in to the bay. SFO is situated at the edge of San Francisco Bay and there is a number of Bay Bridges connecting the strip to the mainland. From some height it seems like many parallel rows of vehicles floating over water. I enjoyed the sight.
After spending some time browsing through the book stores of the SFO airport, I got ready for another nap on another Ted bound for LAS. This time around, Vegas-by-night was a true spectacle to view from the space. Landed, got a cab and checked into hotel by 11 pm. Retired for the day. In short, Vegas was energy sapping. It is one hell of a place which is marked by splendor of everything grand, everything luxurious and everything wrong. It is funny that Vegas is all about the wrong side of life, from gambling, night clubs, losing money to losing virginity. Vegas is all about one 3.5 mile strip adorned with gambling dens on its either sides. Each casino depicts the architecture and culture of some town. For instance, we have NewYork – New York casino that has an external vista of NewYork downtown lining the sky scrapers and the statue of Liberty. We have a casino depicting Paris that features a mock-up Eiffel tower that is 50 storeys tall. The elevator takes you up to the peak and the view from that height makes you think how the smart people of America could turn an apparently fallow desert land into a focal point of extravagance and opulence. It is funny, intriguing and motivating too. Each casino sprawling about half-an acre of land and beautifully decorated is a treat to watch in itself. On top of that, many of these money mansions offer one or more free shows that is supposedly a means to attract the fellow travelers into either watching their paid shows, play at their gaming pools or at least shop in their shopping malls. What will us poor Desis do, than just walk to every free show available? The mega fountains at Bellagio the street plays, canals and gondoliers of Venice, the pyramids and sphinxes of Egypt, the idol of Brahma at the Ceasars Palace and the scores of people at every square inch of the place – can all be found on the Strip. It is one place that speaks grandeur and regality in its air.
Taking the early morning flight to Los Angeles, we landed in LAX about half-past seven, drove the famous Mulholland Drive, which like Beverly Hills supposedly houses the principal Hollywood stars. We tried to peep into every car that passed by to spot Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts, and of course we were in vain. Stopping by on the way, we took pictures of the famous Hollywood sign board and by about 9 am, we were the first entrants into Universal Studios, the studio that plays the cine trick in every movie released in Hollywood. This dream factory produces the best of gimmicks, visual and sound effects known. We saw how rain was instantly pouring when the director wanted it and how pyrotechnics was used in the heroic films, where the hero braves the raging fire in saving the heroine. It was interesting to see the little world submerge in a cataract and then come back live in action for the next scene in minutes. They have a little town in which each of the streets is suppose to look like the different cities of the world. So when the hero flies from Baltimore to Seattle, (He does in the movie, Sleepless in Seattle) the directors and the crew just have move a block away to start shooting in Seattle. There are attempts to re-create the effects of Jurassic Park, Mummy and Van Helsing which are really cool to try a visit. This trick palace was definitely a learning experience.
The next day spent at San Diego (which is just 30 miles North of Mexican border of California) was supposed to be a rest day after three days of tireless fun. However, we engaged in some mild activity on the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Spending time on the beaches of Pacific Ocean was like re-living the good old days of Marina Beach minus the Paatani Sundal. For the Oregonian in me, ( ;-) ) touching water of the Pacific in December is like sun rising in the west. The day was cool, relaxing and rejuvenating for the next day to be spent at Sea World.
Sea World was the best of the places that we got to visit during this trip. We saw Dolphins, Seals and Whales in action trained for a 40-minute show, when it performs acrobatics in the best style.
Dolphins jumped a whooping height of 12 feet and I was simply stupefied. In the show that followed, the seals performed clever acts that I was perplexed. Following that was the whale show where in the whales Shamu and Baby Shamu performed some maneuvers that blew my mind off. These creatures are simply awesome and savvy in their gimmicking crafts. This was the best place for your kids and the kids in you to watch in wonder.
We hired a car and drove up north to spend the New Year eve at Los Angeles. We drove straight to Disney Land, spent a couple of hours in the park and when we were too tired that the legs started begging for some rest, we drove to the hotel where we got an upgrade to a ‘suite’ as the non-smoking room that we had booked was not available. Thanking the stars, we went to bed. We were to rest as much as we could, since we did not have a proper resting place for the following night. Checking out of the hotel by 11 am, we had to spend the next 24 hours ‘somewhere’ before we be back at home sweet home. It rained cats and dogs at Disney and we were awfully under-prepared for the weather. We got drenched and we still had 12 hours for the New Year 12 ‘o clock strike. We managed the rest of the day with the weather getting better as soon as we bought a poncho (u bet) and the New Year fever setting in as soon as we got the New Year hats on. Waited for the ultimate bash, with millions around you counting down the seconds to the last one of 2005 and welcoming the New Year 2006 with colorful fireworks at Disney Land, LA - the moment was truly amazing.

Now, the best part of the story - we still had 6 hours to board the flight back home and we did not have a place to stay and we were still wet with the afternoon rain, cold in the wind and extremely uncomfortable – what a way to start the New Years!! We drove aimlessly in the streets of LA – I enjoyed this haphazard, purposeless and unhurried drive across the very many deserted lanes of LA @ 2: 30 am, January 1 2006.
That is when I get philosophical and my psyche questions the subconscious of the intent of existence, the meaning in my daily hassle and the many mindless motions and mechanics of routine. The unexplored being of me introduces the motivation, the extra verve not to leave the unfamiliar alien and the New Year streak thunders me to wake up, delve deep and probe the way towards a meaningful life fulfilling my inner aspirations.
You should understand that it was the wee hours and I was too sleepy! We then waited for another three hours half-sleeping and boarded another couple more planes and came back home. Home Sweet Home…. Really looking forward to the next tireless fun !!

Twelve years ago, the same people who burn her effigy today had built a temple for her .. She was worshipped.. !! Neither was that sensical nor is this ? Is this what the people have 'learnt' in 12 years time ?
Suhasini follows suit.. and so do the jobless people burnign effigies !
How does it bother one, if Kushboo or Suhasini was pro-pre-marital-sex. After all, everyone is entitled to some opinion. She did not 'force' any woman into pre-marital-sex, nor did she give any incentive to those people, that the poor ones who don't feel left out ! :)
It is the bloody politicians who give incentives to people who are ready to burn effigies, rather than mind their own work. As long as these people are attracted to this incentive, the politicians will continue to exploit and make politics out of it.

As I leaned back on my chair seated on the patio,
Screwing back the time machine, and living life yet again ..
Walking the beach as the sun sets on the west Daddy teaching me to say clock tower from TV tower, and I cleverly mess up once again Building castles in the sand .. Drilling tunnel with the hand .. Molaga bajji that was so spicy .. Pataani Sundal mom would get me .. Sling between my mom and dad bringing my meagre weight up down on them.. hating to go back to the Math homework, I would have to do, yet longing to show the 10/10 to the family .... I would walk away..
wrrrrrrrrr.... the cooker whistle goes ....
Dal is cooked and Sambar is waiting to be made..
:)

My first attempt at a fictional story
Any remote association to a living character is purely accidental. All characters in this story are purely fictional
trngg.............
School bell rang....
He rushes out of his class, waving hands to his class buddies and with in minutes, finds himself on the bank of this river. This is the usual routine for him, he thought. He hurriedly leaves his book bag behind, unwinds his shoes and settles down as close to the shoreline as possible. He is so happy being there, looking at the waters flowing beneath his feet, still warm for the late afternoon, relaxing. The curative powers of warm waters cannot be better proved to him. He looks at the stray dogs that wobbles in the mud, and thinks, why its mom never scolded it for making a mess of itself.
The scene changes.. He continues to watch... After the dirty dog, passed by, an elderly woman and a little kid in tattered clothes come to the river to fill the wooden flask with water for the evening. They are very popular people in the neighborhood, as they are the only ones who wash and clean the public toilets everyday. It was their home and they had to do it anyways. He is sad as the little kid never gets to meet friends at school, as he does, but at the same time, he envies him, that he never Has to go to school.
A few years back, when he was younger, too young to find his way around, his mom and he would walk together to the river bank, play a little, listen to the stories the mom told him, play blind fold, skip around a rope - his mom used to maintain shape that way. Born with no siblings, his mom was his playmate.
As he walks down the memory lane .....
Sun descends on the horizon, as watches a beautiful sun set. Seems like, the sun gets lost inside the river, and rises itself on the other side after a nights journey underneath the river. As the dusk settles down, he picks his bag and walks a lonely long walk back to rest for the evening. He never speaks a word again. He is scared of the dark evenings, that unsettles him. The village so familiar to him, the screeches of the bicycles speeding by, to reach home after work and fresh "kolam" that adorns every doorstep is silent and strong on either side of him. As he reaches the verandas of his house, he hugs the old frailty figure waiting for him. After habitual ablutions, he prays the Thulasi for a couple of minutes. His mom has taught him the power of prayers.
Now it is study time. Imperceptibly walks to his room, opens the suitcase placed in the corner of the tiny room, and picks a picture that is freshly framed - holds it close to his heart, as tears run down his cheeks. It was his mom, smiling at him from inside of the frame and guiding his action every moment. As he holds the picture so tight that his mother is unable to breathe, vivid, heavy and grim memories of his mom being carried away by the doctors unreel. She was mentally sick. She had tumbled over, skid down and hurt her head, the previous night. That dusky evening, his mother unaware of his son's cries, smilingly walked with the men in white coats. He cried asking for his mother back. The villagers held him back. Days passed by and the villagers explained that his mom would be back when he grew up. There he stays, trusting the powers of his prayers, that he would grow up to see his mother back. He wraps the picture back with the crumpled cloth that is wet with his tears and places it back into the suitcase. He rushes back and hugs his caretaker granny once again.

This post coming a little late....
Coming from a Desi living in a Green Village, in the US, where Tam movies seldom get released, is this late review of live Ghajni, where Asin is full of verve and new life all over.
Well, if you have read any review of Ghajni earlier, may be this one is on very similar lines. I had no clue about the movie when I saw it, so it was a pleasant surprise. The movie has Asin and her effervescence written all over the first half. The friendly banter between Surya and Asin, stealthy Surya, the Bombay stories of Asin and her many little things that lift the spirit of anyone around is phenomenal.
The director has shown Asin is the best light, an outgoing, bold and helpful girl that enjoys the little pleasures of life while working towards her ambition of buying three Ambassador Cars. Her character is neatly depicted with the rest of the story.
The director has again, picked the best actor for the role, in Surya, who has given an exceptional performance. It is a novel idea of making a mentally challenged man as the hero, for the Tamil industry that will soon be followed by a few copy machines :)

Though credits are due for the performance of Surya, the idea of the director and the music of Harris Jeyaraj, what continues to act on your head, after the movie, is the tale of Asin, the music of Kalpana that lingers on and on and refuses to wane. It sure has a positive effect on you.

Uncles, aunties and grandmother were engaged in a chat session. It was a period of catching up, many of the family, had just then reached Madras, assembling in the family home at our grandma's. My cousins and I, four of us, @ an average age less than 10 were locked up in a room, as we were too noisy for them to be heard from each other.
In those time, when cordless was unknown, having more than one connection for a phone line was luxury, when people from the neighborhood would use your phone in emergency, phone majestically occupied the space in the outermost of halls, popularly called the "phone room" in our grand ma's place. This room, a tiny 10x10 room, which no one used except to make calls was the hottest of the rooms, anyone dared to live in. Now, this was the room into which we were locked. It was our paradise. The place saw us play dark room, kannamoochi, antakshari, Trade, trump, 56, play drama for Shakespearean "Merchant of Venice", which happened to be in our English texts, in which we made poor Sandhya to play the wicked Shylock !! Every brick in this room, knew more of our joys, fights, games and us better than any other entity outside of it.
Though we were a little upset that the 'elders' had actually locked us here, there were no complaints, we loved being there, enjoying the sweltering heat that heated up further, as our energy soured. It was the time, when cable televisions had started making entry into the market. Sun TV was evolving. Sun TV which was still telecasted only between 6: 30 pm and 11 pm had some special programmes for occasions like Diwali, New Year and Pongal. It was novel for us kids to watch Pepsi Uma on the screen talking to people around the world, playing songs of their choice etc. Also, we were kids who were meeting after a long time. Unlike the elders who had some catching up to do, we were "GO" from the minute 1. Immediately we would start playing, from where we left the last time we met, half a calender year ago. :-) Those were the kid like qualities.
The frustration of having gotten locked up and the excitement of speaking on the Sun TV programmes, had mischievous chemical reactions in us that led us to what we did. We played a drama, this time not Shakespearean but one of our own to vent out our spite and excitement. This program, that we were trying to create and market was an innovative one. "Our Pepsi Uma" was suppose to pick random people from the telephone book, and announce that the called was one among the lucky few to who Uma was calling and that the program would feature her talking and play the song of the her choice in a fortnights time, when the program was suppose to be on air. That was too much of an incentive to get any next door man up on his adrenaline. We took the roles of Pepsi Uma and started calling random people from the Telephone Directory. Now, I appreciate why it costs bucks to get your name ticked off the directory here in the US. It was euphoria for us, as the random people we picked had amazing enthusiasm to talk with Pepsi Uma.
Seemingly a middle aged woman and the mother of a college going son said "Edho en payyan paduvan oorvasi oorvasi nnu .. andha paatu podunga.. ayoo ipponnu paathu en payyan veetle illiye.. avan ketta romba kushi ayiduvanga.. nethu dhan avan kitte ketten, yaaru da orrvasi, therinja ponna nu, edho paattu nnu solli , en vayathula paala vaathaan". It was the time, when Shankar's hit Gentleman was in box-office
Someone, lost in the myriad of songs in this age, that made no sense to this poor old man picked "Oru Naal Podhuma". He was so happy that he actually sang the song for the world-wide audience. Little did he know that his songs were for the private audience locked up in the "Phone Room"
We also had some responses like, "what ? " , "who ?", "wrong number ", that we promptly disconnected. There were a few who did not know of Pepsi Uma or Sun TV , quite surprising !! ?? that we again disconnected, because we did not want to do much of the talking. There was not as much fun in as it is in letting people talk with pushed up frenzy, ardor and intensity and passively listening to it !! The phone was a such a hot item in the heated "Phone Room" that it kept going between us, trying to listen to the pumped up vigor ! For once, we stuck with the rule, of making no noise.
Even today, 15 years later, as I lean back, think and want to be warped in time, the voices of the people of Madras, will bring tears to my eyes, tears of a little guilt, a little victory, a little magic and a little joy. Those were the ages, that we knew no fear, no limits and when no means of joy was wrong ?!

Please read it in a lighter sense !
Simply because my program and I are fighting over who is more powerful - I give it junk values and it gives me junkier results and the stage is set for the junkiest show !!, I lean back on my chair, and stretch my hands outside of myself , as outside as it can be inside the cube ..... my mind would run in seemingly parallel crooked lines..
......
Mentally challenged are people who have some retarded growth in the brain. Physically challenged are people who have some form of physical disability. These are sort of euphemisms for certain disorders. These days you hear even romantically challenged - who are .... whatever ?
.....
But as my crookedly minded head turns around and feels that the office chair could have been more comfortable, I see this dimensionally challenged man with a packet of chips in one hand and coke in the other braving the office aisle space. The junkiest fight switched places !
p.s. Characters and instances in this write-up are purely fictional and any material reference to any living character is truly accidental and the author disclaims responsibility. :-)
